Heart Surgery

My grandpa Nerdin went in for surgery on the 11th. He has a hole in his heart and they're trying to close it. He's had several strokes over the course of his lifetime and they never knew. One half of his heart doesn't work, it just sort of flutters because of the hole. It's probably been that way since he was born. Of course, they don't know that because he's seventy years old and they just found it.

I'm really scared for him. He came out alright though, it's just that he's in a lot of pain. When my grandparents got to the hospital, the doctor told them that the machine they'd use to close the hole was broken and they needed to wait for the part to be replaced. In the end, my grandma said that she didn't think grandpa'd make it that long to wait and reschedule. Eventually, the doctor found a room where someone hadn't shown up for their surgery and the operation was done there. He only got done 1/3 of what he'd hoped to and now grandpa needs to go back on the 26th.
