Touching Christmas Video

This is the same video as the one at the top of the page. It's a short six minute clip and worth every second to watch. There is a wonderful Christmas message that too often is forgotten.

The video is from the Church website. I hope you take the time to enjoy it!

O Christmas Tree!

This is our Christmas tree! It's small, but perfect for us this year. Next year we won't be able to get away with such a small tree. Duane will be old enough to enjoy the decorating and there will definitely have to be more effort! LoL

I love baby Duane's Christmas outfit. He wore it to church today.

Baby Teeth

Someone got his baby teeth! Unfortunately they aren't nearly big enough to see, so I can't take a picture. They are just big enough to feel. We were so excited when we noticed the little bumps on his gums though! Yay baby teeth!!

Funny Dreams

For as long as we've been married, I've never known Pastor to sleep talk. Last night I climbed into bed after getting up with the baby. Pastor rolled over and asked, "What's your last name?" I was surprised and said, "Babe, what are you talking about? You know my last name." Then he said, "Delta four." I pushed his shoulder and asked again, "Babe, what are you talking about?" He said something lethargic and went back to sleep.
I asked about it this morning and he said that he didn't remember the conversation.
Pastor works at the airport transferring people in wheelchairs. To pick up the correct passenger, he asks the person their last name. Delta four is gate D4 at the airport. I couldn't stop laughing when he told me that. He was amused to learn that he goes to work even in his dreams.

Chillin'

New Carseat

When we went grocery shoppping on Saturday, we decided to take a peak at the upright carseats. The baby is nearing 20 lbs and we need to consider getting a new one really soon. Baby Duane enjoyed sitting in the seats high above everyone else. He looked like a little prince ready to give orders. :o)
Whoops! The camera just went off, honest . . .

I personally like this green one!

Pastor liked this one the best.

Happy Birthday Paulie!

It's Paulie's birthday on the 17th and my mom had a little party for him today. I can't believe he's turning 24! What's that all about? Paul was always the leader when we were growing up and I've always admired his ease in finding his own way to do things. I often relied on his outgoing nature when we were children and acted as his sidekick in crime.
Blowing out the candles. I love number candles, they make things so much easier.
Cutting the cake!
Pastor, enjoying yummy food.

Rosie, trying to hide from the camera.

Birthday kisses, aw!

After all was said and done, my mom set the baby by the cake and this is what resulted.

He was so cute playing in the mess that no one stopped him. I cringed when he got his outfit dirty, but he had fun. Uncle Paul was a good sport about his cake being demolished.

Duane kept clapping his hands together. I think he wanted to get the goo off and wasn't sure how. He kept grabbing napkins and rubbing them in his hands.

Grandma and the baby!

Sleeping in His Crib

Someone has started sleeping in his crib at night! Even if his nights are still off by a few hours, it's nice that he sleeps in his own room in his own bed.

More Thanksgiving Day Pics

Attacking Zee . . .
Duane tuckered out when mama held him.

Paul and Chelsea

The whole gang, five generations worth.

Karate Kid

We found this cute robe. When he's wearing it, Duane kinda looks like a boxer.

This picture really looks like he's practicing karate.

Ladybug

Jump! Jump! Jump! I think he's getting too big for his ladybug.

Free Balloon

At the store, a girl gave Duane a free balloon. He loved it until it ran out of helium and I threw it away.

Newspaper

Duane loves it when I shred the newspaper. We don't play this game often.

Laundry Helper

This is how the baby helps me with laundry. I was trying to fold and he would rotate his bum around until he got near the most recent pile of folded clothes, then he would promptly demolish any work by tossing the clothes on the floor repeatedly. I finally stuck him in the basket and he was content there until I was done.

Snug as a Bug

Baby and Daddy keeping warm . . .

Bathtime Cuteness!

All I can say is aw . . .

This is the funniest picture I've ever seen! I burst into laughter every time I look at it. Have you ever seen such silliness?

Now there is a little dude looking for trouble. What kind of mass mayhem is he planning?

Of course, we can't forget the elephant towel at the end!

Camera Ham

Like most babies, Duane is fascianted with the camera. Every time I have it out, he tries to grab it.

Can you see the determination on his face? What a stubborn boy . . . :o)
