My dad came to get the baby and me to go down to Monticello. We moved to Monticello the summer before my junior year in high school. I LOVE going home to a place where you can see the stars sparkling in the sky! The baby had so much fun too. He really enjoyed seeing his uncles and playing non-stop. You can tell he felt at home by the way he just got into everything like he would at our place.
This is my dad pulling us behind his tractor.
This is the baby and me riding on a sled through the snow behind the tractor.
My dad has quite a few kitties on his property. Most of them are from litters, but Fluffy he found and nursed back to health. He was really weak and would come near the house probably in search of food. He was wild, but after my dad befriended him, he became the sweetest kitty. He'll climb up your pants to retrieve morsels of food. This is both Star and Fluffy.

The baby liked being on the small trampoline my parents had in their office. He thought it was the neatest thing.
The second night there, my parents went to watch a movie while the kids and I had a fun night. Mama told me that they made these spider cookies for Halloween and the boys ask to make them all the time after that. This is my little brother Jared with his masterpiece.
This was the one that I made.
This is Zee and his little spider cookie.
Will made some, but he ate them too quickly to take a picture!
Mister Jared making a silly smile!
Duane showed little interest in making spider cookies, but he sure loved to eat the chocolate shells.
The little crib that Duane slept in while staying at grandma & grandpa's. We had to use a few blakets to keep him warm. Don't you love the pink satin?
On Valentines Day, Will had a Church-ball game.
In this picutre, Will in the one near the door. I still can't believe that he's taller than I am. I told him that he would have to walk around on his knees while I was there so I wouldn't have to face reality. ;)
Nancy loves to peel things. She'll peel cucumbers and carrots by the bushel! She's such a doll. The baby was fascinated by her and followed her from room to room at times.
My sleeping boy. He was tuckered out after getting up before nine.
Baby Du's uncles made him a mountain to climb on out of the mattress I was using to sleep on at night.
Rolly, rolly, rolly . . .
He turned into a mountain goat!
Letting the air out of the mattress.
The entire family!
Lady and Spot saying goodbye.
