Best Birthday EVER!

Pastor asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I told him I wanted to camping. When I was a kid I loved going camping! Now that I have kids, I was nervous to take them, especially a little baby. We decided to give a go and boy was it worth it! This was literally the best birthday I've ever had and there wasn't even any cake. Well, not the edible kind anyway. I can't wait for our next camping trip!

Blessings

I know, I know...it's terrible. Next time I will pay more attention to the light. To be fair, I had a husband who kept saying, TAKE THE PICTURE! TAKE THE PICTURE! Hs, no pressure, right? That being said, I am so very grateful for all of those who came for this special occasion. I was very humbled to know just how many care. Also, I was EXTREMELY touched by the blessing Pastor gave our littlest one. He is an incredibly strong man and I could not think of a better way to celebrate our anniversary. We are so blessed!

Kindy Grad

It's hard to cope when your oldest little person keeps looking more and more like a little man. I'm so proud of him and the person he's growing into! I was there for every moment of his growing up (as much as humanly possible) and I still can't believe how fast it's gone by.

This

Today, this is happening. She's doing EXTREMELY well too! I just cannot believe my little girl is getting so big! I love her to pieces.

Fish

She won't get out of the pool. Not even for chocolate.

Today...

Today I am inspired--inspired by messy hair and tutus, by smiles and sass, by dirt and sparkles. I promise that she smiles, just hardly ever for the camera...unless daddy's there.

More Practicing

The thing about needing to practice is having a target. AND the thing about having kids is that you ALWAYS have a target. They will thank me one day, right? As you can see, some of these pics are not the best, but I am just learning. Plus, the kids and hubby were in constant motion and I was on manual, which is a recent switch for me from automatic. Let me just say that I LOVE manual so much more. Why did I not learn this sooner? P.S. The picture of Adi watering the grass is simply that. We didn't allow her to play with weed killer. My husband simply kept the bottle because he liked the way it sprayed. Recycling at its finest, right?

Dexter's Blessing Duds

Ever since I have learned about the buttons on my camera, it's like someone has given me a magic wand and I can take beautiful pictures! The new lens helps as well. ;) As I was taking this, someone totally photobombed. The cutest photobomb ever!!

Aperture

For years I have dreamed of being a photographer. You know, an actual photographer who makes money. I've been pushing the buttons on my camera for a long time, but I knew I needed to know more than how to push buttons if I wanted to be an actual photographer. Recently, for Mother's Day, I got a new lens. One that has opened new doors for me. One that makes me recall that dream I had. That dream that I had given up on. I have started learning the buttons on my camera because of this lens and now, I feel I am one step closer to becoming a photographer. In fact, I believe I am on the verge of it...

Easter

Is there anything better than an Easter egg hunt? The kids love, LOVE Easter egg hunts. They were saddened when they learned they had to give the plastic egg shells back so they could be reused next year. ;) I'm really glad our ward does this.
Also, the primary president brought her long haired rabbits from home. Poor things suffered through a lot of abuse, but they are super cute! And heaven knows the kids enjoyed seeing them.
