Easter

Is there anything better than an Easter egg hunt? The kids love, LOVE Easter egg hunts. They were saddened when they learned they had to give the plastic egg shells back so they could be reused next year. ;) I'm really glad our ward does this.

Also, the primary president brought her long haired rabbits from home. Poor things suffered through a lot of abuse, but they are super cute! And heaven knows the kids enjoyed seeing them.

Owl

My sweet boy in a crocheted owl hat grandma in Kentucky sent. Can you see his hairy little shoulder? He's almost as hairy as Duane was when he was born. I love fuzzy babies!

1 Week Old

Spooks and Frights

There was a lot to do this year. We went to the trunk or treat at our ward a few days before Halloween. On the actual day, we headed down south to visit gr grandma. She was working, so we had lunch with her then went out to start our trick or treating. Poor Adi was scared of all the costumes and wanted daddy to hold her most of the time. The boys got a good few scares as well. I know it's all part of Halloween, but I do wish people wouldn't scare little kids. Maybe if we go out earlier next year we can avoid most of that. The kids thought it was all worth it though. They got enough candy to last for a while.

Church Duds

I wanted to capture the boys in their snazzy suits before they outgrew them. My dad and Ellen bought them for them when my brother got married. I think they look so handsome!

1st Day of Kindergarten

This day was a difficult one for me. I think I have separation anxiety, or maybe I'm just a mom, but I can't stand being away from my babies. My mind always wanders when they are gone and tried to think of all the terrible things that could happen. I don't like it when they're away for any amount of time, even if it is a half day. I don't know who struggled more though, me or Avan.

Avan is very attached to Duane and missed him so much! They are sweet boys and good brothers.

He's a Citizen!!

He worked so hard to become a citizen and now it's official! We are all so proud of you, babe!

Don't Grow Too Quickly, Sweet Girl!!!!

She's getting too big too fast!! I had to do a mini photo shoot to catch her at this chubby baby age in this adorable pink dress her Aunt Ashley gave her. I love her endless, happy, lovely eyes.

She sure loves her daddy. He fixed her glass slipper after it fell off. ;)

Findings in the Backyard

Daddy found a newt in the window well! The boys were thrilled! We let it go before Adi woke up from her nap.

Such a fun time! There was even a train!

City Creek Mall

The shoes Adi's wearing in these photos were drenched by the time we were through. We brought them home and tried to air them out, but they stunk to high heaven. I washed them and that seemed to make them smell worse! We had to toss them when all was said and done.

Growing

She's getting everywhere on her own! I love these pink overalls. She's my little ray of sunshine. :D
