Machu Picchu Peruvian Restaurant

This place closed as of Sept.-2009

Pastor and I went to a Peruvian restaurant with some friends. I forgot to take the camera, which was really sad because it would have been nice, but oh well. The place is called Machu Picchu Peruvian Restaurant. I've had Peruvian food before, but the other places didn't have very fresh food. I ordered ceviche and it was divine! Pastor ordered something that I have no idea how to spell, but it was chicken and rice and it was really tasty as well. (I stole bites off his plate, haha!)

I think I was supposed to be Peruvian. The food is so good and this restaurant really met my standards. If you're ever near Clearfield, you should give it a try.

Change of Mind

For anyone who noticed the post announcing that we would be going private, we changed our minds. That is to say that Pastor changed our minds, LOL. He thinks we should stay open so his family can see the blog. Good idea! I forgot about that aspect. So we will NOT be going private as of yet . . .

Lost Files of Duane Eusebio

Some pics that are too cute and too funny not to share. They were taken sometime between Thanksgiving and New Year's day.

Reading Dinasaur Book

Duane loves his dinasaur book. It's one of those ones where you can feel different textures. He loves to run his fingers over the silk terradactyl wing and the leather-like spot on the bronciosaurus. I do read it to him now and then, but he usually just gets frustrated and takes the book away. It's such a cute, quiet thing for him to do though. We need more things like that for church! Maybe it will keep him from terroizing other kids. HA!

Are you ready for your close up Duane?

Bed Time!

Duane is such a handsome little man in his pjs. I love him in red too!

Random Scenery Pictures

Although I don't feel my camera does nature justice, the photos are still pretty cool.

Shopping

This is how baby Duane shops! I thought he was so adorable riding along in the cart with his little bottle. He watched everything like it was a show just for him and this was his tiny throne being pushed throught the store.

Eagle Eye

Now this is the kind of movie I like!! Aside from the swearing, this was an excellent, action packed film. I highly recomend seeing it if you haven't already.

Uncle Jay Explains

Too, too funny!

Snow Snow Snow!

There is so much snow here in North Salt Lake! It snowed again just last night. I like to look at it, but I don't like to be in it. Snow really is beautiful though.

New Year's Eve

Baby Du stayed up with us until 11:30pm on New Year's Eve. We spent the night tickeling him.

He's looking for another tickle to come his way. You can just see it on his face.

Christmas Day

I know I'm a slacker. I should have posted these in December, but better late than never, right?

The baby's first stocking, that we forgot to stuff. LOL

Snowy white mountains on Christmas Day.

The baby's favorite toy that he received for Christmas. My dad and mama gave him this cute zebra.

All the toys the baby got.

Pastor documenting the Christmas festivities for his family

Spunky and his awesome doggie collar.

The baby with Grandma Hanson who we went to visit later in the day.

Tucanos Brazilian Grill

Another Christmas Eve tradition is for my mom's family to meet at Tucanos for a real feast!

Duane was tuckered out from opening so many presents! So, so cute!

Pastor took this picture. Doesn't our baby look like a little man? Awww . . .

Everyone at dinner!

Pastor is a meat lover. He LOVES the food at this restaurant.

Cute little Duane was giving me slobbery kisses. So sweet!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve, traditionaly, has always been spent at my Grandma Nerdin's. This year was hard on her with her dad having cancer, but she managed to pull another great party together.

Duane is enjoying opening his gifts. He was transfixed by the tissue paper.

Presents!

Silly heads!!

Grandpa Nerdin tried to rock the baby, but Duane was having none of it.

My cousin Chelsea loves baby Duane. He even pulled her hair out of her pony tail and she still wanted to hold him. What a tough chica!

What a couple of cute guys! Ladies will be swooning at the sight. LOL

Baby Dragon!

The baby chases me through the house on all fours. He crawls as fast as his little arms and legs can carry him. While he's doing this, he's growling the cutest growl I've ever heard. He loves to play games and will do this for quite a while.

We started here in the bedroom . . .

. . . and wound up in the kitchen. After that we circled back and did it again!
